This is a superb opportunity for an associate dentist to work within a dental surgery in Appleby, Cumbria.

The contract is to undertake 8500 UDA per annum in addition to private work. The successful dentist will take over an existing patient list. The practice is a modern up to date dental practice located in a health centre incorporating a GP surgery and nurse station. The practice has 2 surgeries with very modern equipment and a central sterilisation room.

Appleby sits on the A66 cross-country route, roughly halfway between Penrith and Brough - it is only a 10-15 minute drive from junctions 38 or 40 of the M6, and is on the scenic Settle-Carlisle Railway. There is good walking very close to the town, particularly along the river, and it is also an excellent base for exploring the Lakes to the west, or the Yorkshire Dales just a few miles to the southeast. It is also a good stopping place for the various walking routes that pass through or near it - the Pennine Way, the Coast to Coast Walk, and the Westmorland Way. Trains: Appleby train station is less than 10 minutes walk from the practice
