This is a unique opportunity for a dentist to work within clinical dentistry, but make the transition from practice-based dentistry to a more clinical operational role. This is an Independent Dental Group looking for a Clinical Director to join our existing team of Clinical Directors, but to be based in Southampton to look after associates in this region.
The successful candidate will take on 3-4 days a week (Mon-Wed/Thurs) of mixed general dentistry (5,000 UDAs per annum) with additional private work, and be a mentor/supervisor for dentists requiring EEA/PLVE mentoring at the practice. In addition, they would need to complete Clinical Director duties for the remaining 1-2 days. This includes training of dentists and therapists; 1-1 support chair side, observing them with patients, helping with cases, showing clinicians around practices and doing their inductions. Remuneration is paid via salary, it is competitive and based on experience; in addition to payment for the NHS and private delivery.
You will be working closely with the company owner to ensure the smooth running of this expanding dental company.
