A superb opportunity has arisen for a dental hygienist to join an established dental practice in the centre of the historic city of York.  The practice is a forward thinking independently owned dental practice, established for over 50 years.

The position is for a dental hygienist to work one Monday per month (to grow), hours are 8am-5.20pm. Salary is based on per patient at £10 per patient / 20 minutes, with appointment times at 20 / 40 minutes each.  You will benefit from nurse assistance and the position is on a self-employed basis.  Patients are a mix of NHS (band 2) and private fee-paying.

Successful candidates will be GDC registered and qualified dental hygienists.  The practice is seeking a dental hygienist who can provide a long-term commitment and thus a candidate living within a reasonable commuting distance is preferred.  You will have good communication skills and rapport with patients and have a good enthusiasm for dental hygiene.  The position is to start one Monday per month to grow the book.  This is though a busy practice and the book will grow quickly.
