This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving specialist orthodontic group operating across a small number of modern clinics in Wellington. Patient demand is consistently high, with new patient enquiries currently exceeding clinical capacity across the specialist practices. The successful specialist will typically focus on two key locations, both large, contemporary, and well equipped with generous surgery space and room for further growth.

The practices offer a superb clinical environment, supported by in-house X-rays and CBCT. You will be working within a friendly, positive, and well-structured team that includes fully qualified orthodontic auxiliaries, and an experienced Practice Manager who ensures smooth day-to-day operations. The culture is upbeat, supportive, and designed to allow clinicians to deliver exceptional care with minimal administrative burden.

The role offers genuine work-life balance, with no after-hours requirements, an early finish on Fridays, and flexibility within the working week. The remuneration package includes a competitive daily rate with performance-related bonuses, and for a strong long-term contributor there is the potential for future equity partnership. Full relocation assistance is provided for overseas specialists, including support with Dental Council of New Zealand registration and visa sponsorship where required.

Candidates must be registered, or eligible for registration, as a Specialist Orthodontist with the Dental Council of New Zealand.  While two to three years of post-specialist experience is preferred, all suitably qualified applicants will be considered. Confidence in treating both child and adult patients, including aligner therapy, is essential, with significant potential to expand adult orthodontics within the practice.
