Located in York, we are offering an orthodontist a superb part-time opportunity to work within an exclusive private practice in the heart of the beautiful city of York.

The practice has a national reputation for the excellent quality of dental treatment it provides its patients.  Equipped to an extremely high standard, the practice also has a modern and contemporary decor adding to the practice’s exclusivity and allowing for a relaxing place to treat patients and a professional place to work.

The position is for one day per week, growing to two for a specialist orthodontist to take over new patients in the footsteps of an established diary which is very busy and highly profitable, due to a colleague semi-retiring. 

This is well known and established clinic, patients are referred externally from across Yorkshire and internally, from the multi-disciplinary team. There is a mix of adults and children, with the majority of patients being adults, teenagers accounting for around 10% of cases.

This is an award-winning team focusing on dental implants, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and prosthodontics. You will benefit from your own dedicated Nurse and a Treatment Coordinator. You will receive help to provide courses for referral dentists, submit articles to dental magazines and apply for awards to increase referrals, if appropriate. 

The practice is passionate about dentistry and provides the highest level of care, working in the best interest of each patient. They offer patients all types of orthodontics, including metal, ceramic and lingual brackets, and Invisalign.

The practice believes in nurturing the team, and their highly experienced clinicians and support team will be available to provide training for you as appropriate. The retiring orthodontist will remain working for two years; a trainer in Incognito and will be available to train if appropriate.  

Candidates must be of an impeccable nature with an eye for quality and a good degree of clinical experience.  As this is a small team with a loyal patient base, candidates must be personable and have a gentle approach to dentistry.  This is a quality driven role that places high importance on creating smiles and improving the lives of patients.  The successful dentist will be significantly rewarded both financially and by gaining valuable clinical experience in a superb environment.

Successful candidates will be GDC specialist registered and qualified Orthodontist.
