This is an independently owned dental practice providing exclusively private and Denplan treatments based in Lancashire, close to the M6 and just to the north of both Blackburn and Preston. We currently have a part-time opportunity to join a thriving and well established private dental practice three or four days per week.
The position is to acquire existing patients from the current associates, not replacement as the principal looks to reduce his clinical commitment in the practice. With this in mind, you will benefit from a fantastic and rare opportunity to inherit a solid patient base in a lovely well run dental practice.
The practice is a family run dental practice, which has been owned by the current Principal Dentist since the mid-1980s. With active patient records going back to the 1950s, this is an established practice at the heart of the community. The practice has superb staff retention, with the practice manager starting as a receptionist at the practice in the 1980s and the newest member of staff starting eight years ago, dental nurses are all qualified and experienced. The dental practice is modern and well equipped and although well established, has always been modernised and updated to keep up with advancements in the profession.
The practice moved to private dentistry over 20 years ago, it has a completely stable patient base and provides a really safe opportunity for a dentist seeking a long term position with a potential view to partnership.
The practice accommodates two dentists, the principal and a long term associate and we are seeking a candidate to acquire existing private and Denplan patients. The successful candidate will have UK dental experience; private experience is not essential and there is plenty of good support within the practice. You will, however be seeking a long term position and have good solid roots in the area with plans to live in Lancashire long term. A dentist with an interest in orthodontics, especially Invisalign would benefit from this position, however orthodontic experience is not essential.

The vacancy provides an excellent opportunity for a dentist seeking a private role with existing and well-established patients and to work with true professionals in a very warm environment. Remuneration will be paid via 50% of the gross, lab bills are divided equally.
