This offers the ambitious dentist, something really solid to build from, in terms of a patient dentist relationship and an excellent opportunity for private.

This is an established dental practice with two modern and well-equipped surgeries, fully digital, intraoral cameras, computerised, etc. and housed in a  five-story Georgian townhouse which is owned by the practice owner, thus lots of potential for further expansion.

Scarborough offers a fantastic place to live and the practice is in a nice location, in a square with a central green and very close to the train station. Thus, if if you did not live in Scarborough you can benefit from the higher UDA of the North Yorkshire Coast, but then commute easily, with regular and direct trains to York and also direct trains to Bridlington, Beverley, and Hull.  These trains also go right through to Sheffield and Doncaster, meaning excellent connections to London.

There are 3000 active patients and a flexible UDA allocation from 5500 upwards to 10000 UDA.  However, there is excellent potential for private, so you may wish to opt for a smaller UDA contract in order to provide private treatments, paid at 50%. The practice was referred to us by a dentist we know well and thus we know this provides a very real and good opportunity.

Successful candidates will be GDC registered dentists, have an active dentist performer number and have experience of providing NHS dental treatment in the UK.
