This is a superb opportunity for a dentist at an early stage in their private career, looking to develop their skills in cosmetic and digitally led dentistry, with the stability of a salaried employed role. The position is particularly well suited to clinicians who are motivated to grow in areas such as clear aligners, bonding, and smile makeovers, and who would benefit from mentoring within a supportive and forward-thinking private practice.

The successful candidate will be joining a modern, four-surgery, private-only practice in York. The clinic enjoys an excellent reputation locally and benefits from a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team, with in-house expertise in oral surgery, implants, orthodontics, and aesthetic dentistry. You will take over a busy list of private patients, around 75% of whom are on plan, providing a solid foundation from day one.

This is a fully employed position, offering a competitive salary along with a commission structure based on treatment delivered. You’ll receive hands-on clinical support and training in the full scope of private cosmetic dentistry, including aligner therapy, composite bonding, smile design and use of digital workflows. As your skills develop, the role will transition into a self-employed associate position within the practice, offering long-term career progression and earning potential.

Successful candidates will be fully registered with the GDC and have experience of providing private dental treatment in the UK.
