An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dentist to join a well-established, family-owned general practice in Manurewa. Serving its community for more than twenty-five years, the practice offers a loyal patient base and a supportive environment that suits both developing and experienced clinicians.
This modern two-chair practice is equipped with new Osstem chairs, digital x-rays, OPG and ceph, rotary endo, denture cleaning equipment, and EXACT software. A private office area is available separate from the treatment rooms. The role offers flexibility, with full-time or part-time options (Monday to Friday), and a minimum commitment of three days per week.
You will provide a wide range of general and emergency dentistry, including restorative work, full-mouth rehabilitation, extractions, endodontics, dentures, orthodontics, crowns, and fillings. The mix of treatments and longstanding community trust ensure a varied and rewarding workload.
The position requires a minimum of six months’ New Zealand clinical experience. You will be confident across general procedures, including extractions, complex restorations, endodontics, and fixed and removable prosthodontics. Strong communication skills, an empathetic approach, and confidence in treatment planning are essential, along with the ability to work independently when required.
Remuneration is 42% for new or recent graduates, rising to 45% for clinicians with three or more years of experience and strong general dentistry skills.
