This is a rare opportunity for a qualified Dentist looking to take their career in a different direction and become involved in the rapidly developing field of dental technology and AI.

Rather than providing conventional dental treatment, you will use your dental knowledge and clinical experience to support the development of an AI-powered dental scanning and monitoring system. Working closely with the company's founder and clinical team, you will be involved in the collection, assessment and annotation of dental data used to support the continued development of the technology.

The position combines dental knowledge, technology, patient interaction, research and an element of business development. You will work across affiliated dental clinics, assisting patients with the scanning process, ensuring high-quality data collection and reviewing and annotating dental scans according to established protocols. You will also help ensure appropriate consent, hygiene, confidentiality and data-handling procedures are followed.

As the business develops, you will have the opportunity to contribute to its wider growth, including building relationships with potential partner clinics, attending meetings with dental professionals and helping to introduce the technology to new locations.

Candidates should have at least 2 years' post-qualification experience, with a strong grounding in general dentistry, diagnosis and treatment planning. You will also require sufficient orthodontic knowledge to recognise common malocclusions, occlusal relationships and other dental abnormalities.

A good working knowledge of modern dental technology and a genuine interest in digital dentistry, AI and innovation are important. Previous experience working directly within AI, technology or business development is not required.

Candidates must hold current, unrestricted registration with an established dental regulatory authority, such as the GDC in the UK or the equivalent dental regulator in Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or other comparable jurisdictions, and be in good professional standing. UAE dental registration is not required as this is a non-treatment position. The necessary UAE employment visa and work permit will be arranged by the employer.

Fluent English and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The successful candidate will be articulate, confident and highly professional when communicating with patients, dental professionals and prospective partner clinics.

The position is offered on an initial 12-month contract, with the expectation that there will be opportunities to continue beyond this as the business develops and expands. There is also potential for the role to develop into a more senior position as the company grows.

The salary is US$3,500-$4,500 (approximately AED 12,850-16,500) per month. Accommodation will be provided or alternatively a housing allowance appropriate to the local market will be offered. A transportation allowance will also be provided depending on the clinics and locations assigned, with medical insurance provided where applicable.

For further information regarding this Dentist position, confidential enquiries can be made by submitting your CV to ZEST Dental Recruitment. All applications and enquiries will be treated in the strictest confidence.
