A well-established dental practice in Auckland is seeking a private dentist to join their team on a weekend basis.

The role involves working Saturdays and Sundays for three weekends per month and may require sole-charge responsibilities. The successful candidate will provide a broad range of general and cosmetic dental treatments including implants, aligners, endodontics, dentures, crowns, veneers and hygiene services.

The clinic is modern and well equipped with advanced digital technology including CBCT imaging, a Trios intraoral scanner, laser systems and digital radiography. You will work within a supportive environment alongside experienced clinicians and staff, with mentoring available for dentists looking to further develop their skills in areas such as aligner therapy, implant dentistry and cosmetic treatments.

This position offers excellent clinical autonomy, competitive remuneration of 40% commission and staff parking. A minimum commitment of approximately 18 months is preferred to ensure continuity of care for patients.

The successful candidate will ideally have at least two years of clinical experience and be confident across all aspects of general dentistry. Strong communication skills, professionalism and the ability to build strong patient relationships are essential.

Candidates must be eligible for registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ). This typically includes dentists qualified in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada* or the United States*. Candidates with other qualifications should check their eligibility with the DCNZ before applying.

USA and Canadian qualifications must be from DCNZ recognised accredited dental schools.
