A privately owned dental practice in Palmerston North is seeking an experienced private dentist to join their friendly and collaborative team.

The modern three-chair practice offers a full range of general dental treatments including restorations, extractions, endodontics, crown and bridge work, implants and hygiene services. The clinic also provides WINZ/MSD, ACC and DB services and benefits from a well-established and loyal patient base.

The practice is well equipped with advanced digital technology including an E4D system, Straumann digital scanner, on-site laboratory, intraoral cameras, OPG imaging and modern endodontic equipment, with plans to continue expanding its digital capabilities.

You will work alongside a supportive and experienced team including dentists, a hygienist, a clinical dental technician and five additional support staff. The role is typically full time from 8:30am to 4:45pm, with flexibility to include late evenings or weekend sessions if desired.

The successful candidate will ideally have at least three years of clinical experience and be confident delivering a wide range of general dental treatments. Strong communication skills, professionalism and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.

Palmerston North offers an excellent lifestyle with its vibrant arts scene, cafés, restaurants and the renowned New Zealand Rugby Museum. Surrounded by outdoor recreation opportunities, the city is approximately two hours from Wellington by road and just over an hour by flight to Auckland.

Candidates must be eligible for registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ). This typically includes dentists qualified in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada* or the United States*. Candidates with other qualifications should check their eligibility with the DCNZ before applying.

USA and Canadian qualifications must be from DCNZ recognised accredited dental schools.
