A long-established private dental practice in Central Auckland is seeking a dentist to join its experienced and supportive team. The practice has served its local community for 70 years and benefits from a huge loyal patient base, providing excellent potential for a busy and productive role.

The clinic provides general, emergency and cosmetic dentistry including hygiene and periodontal treatment, crown and bridge work, endodontics, implants, veneers, wisdom tooth extractions, full mouth rehabilitation and whitening. Modern equipment includes a Trios 5 scanner and Panex imaging.

You will work alongside an experienced senior dentist, oral health therapist and established support team within a friendly and collaborative environment. Mentoring and training in clear aligner treatment are available for dentists looking to develop their experience in this area.

Candidates of all experience levels will be considered, although at least one year of clinical experience would be preferred. The successful candidate will be confident providing general dentistry, comfortable discussing treatment plans with patients and able to accommodate Saturday and/or late-night working when required.

Central Auckland offers excellent access to the city and surrounding suburbs, with a wide range of restaurants, cafés, shopping and recreational amenities alongside easy access to Auckland’s waterfront and beaches.

Candidates must be eligible for registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ). This typically includes dentists qualified in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada* or the United States*. Candidates with other qualifications should check their eligibility with the DCNZ before applying.

USA and Canadian qualifications must be from DCNZ recognised accredited dental schools.
