A well-established private dental practice in South Auckland is seeking a dentist to join its experienced and supportive team. The practice has a large and varied loyal patient base, attracting both local patients and those travelling from further afield, with full-time or part-time hours available and no weekend working.

The clinic provides a broad range of general and cosmetic dentistry including crowns, implants, veneers, restorations, root canal treatment, extractions, dentures, hygiene, mouthguards and teeth whitening.

The practice has an excellent digital set-up including a Trios 5 scanner, rotary endodontics, OPG and lateral cephalometric imaging, digital x-rays, Heidi for clinical note taking and Exact practice management software.

You will work alongside an established team of three dentists, three hygienists and oral health therapists, dental assistants and practice management staff, with additional clinical support from a visiting oral surgeon.

Candidates should ideally have at least one year of clinical experience, although recent graduates will also be considered. The successful candidate will be confident providing general dentistry and treatment planning for patients of all ages, with good communication skills and a friendly and professional approach to patient care.

South Auckland offers excellent access to the wider Auckland region, with good transport connections, established communities and a wide range of local amenities.

Candidates must be eligible for registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ). This typically includes dentists qualified in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada* or the United States*. Candidates with other qualifications should check their eligibility with the DCNZ before applying.

USA and Canadian qualifications must be from DCNZ recognised accredited dental schools.
