A modern and purpose-built private dental practice in Whakatāne is seeking a dentist to join their experienced and supportive team. The practice offers a broad range of treatments including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, emergency care, oral surgery, endodontics and sedation.

The clinic is fully digital and equipped with advanced technology including rotary endodontics, intraoral scanners and cameras, OPG imaging, CEREC Primemill and Primescan 2 systems, and nitrous oxide sedation equipment. The practice has strong patient demand with full books available from the outset and an established loyal patient base.

You will work alongside an experienced and friendly team including dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, reception staff, practice management and a visiting orthodontist. Mentoring and clinical support are available from a highly experienced lead dentist.

Candidates should ideally have at least four years of clinical experience, although less experienced dentists with the right attitude and clinical approach will also be considered. The successful candidate will be patient-focused, communicative and comfortable discussing comprehensive treatment plans with patients.

Candidates must be eligible for registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ). This typically includes dentists qualified in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada* or the United States*. Candidates with other qualifications should check their eligibility with the DCNZ before applying.

USA and Canadian qualifications must be from DCNZ recognised accredited dental schools.
