An established private dental group in the Christchurch area is seeking a dentist to join their experienced and supportive team. The role is primarily full-time, although part-time arrangements will also be considered for the right candidate.

The position is split across two nearby clinics located approximately 15 minutes apart and offers a varied clinical workload including general dentistry, emergency care, oral surgery, endodontics and oral medicine.

The practices are equipped with modern technology including rotary endodontics, OPG/Panex imaging, digital x-rays, surgical motors, Airflow systems and IV sedation facilities. You will work alongside an experienced team including dentists, hygienists, oral health therapists, specialists, dental assistants and dedicated administrative staff.

Candidates with all levels of experience will be considered. Surgical extraction experience would be beneficial but is not essential. The successful candidate will be patient-focused, communicative and comfortable discussing treatment plans and oral health needs with patients. A driving licence is required due to travel between the two practices.

Candidates must be eligible for registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ). This typically includes dentists qualified in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada* or the United States*. Candidates with other qualifications should check their eligibility with the DCNZ before applying.

USA and Canadian qualifications must be from DCNZ recognised accredited dental schools.
