A well-established private dental practice in Hastings is seeking a dentist to join its friendly and experienced team. The practice can accommodate either an experienced general dentist or a recent graduate and offers a supportive and well-organised working environment with a strong focus on quality patient care and long-term relationships.

The clinic has been privately owned and operated for more than 30 years and benefits from an active and loyal patient base together with strong ongoing demand for services. The practice provides general, emergency and cosmetic dentistry and is equipped with Kavo dental units, an intraoral scanner, Carestream digital OPG, digital x-rays and rotary endodontic systems.

You will work alongside an experienced senior dentist, associate dentist and established support team including dental assistants, reception and practice management staff. Administrative responsibilities are kept to a minimum, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care. Mentoring and clinical support are available from an experienced senior clinician.

Candidates of all experience levels will be considered, including recent graduates. The successful candidate will be personable, professional and comfortable providing a broad range of general dental treatments.

Hastings and the wider Hawke’s Bay region offer an excellent lifestyle with wineries, beaches, cycling trails and outdoor activities all close by. The area is well known for its relaxed pace of life, sunny climate and strong food and wine culture, while still offering excellent schools and affordable housing.

Candidates must be eligible for registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ). This typically includes dentists qualified in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada* or the United States*. Candidates with other qualifications should check their eligibility with the DCNZ before applying.

USA and Canadian qualifications must be from DCNZ recognised accredited dental schools.
