An excellent opportunity has become available for a private dentist to join a well-established and modern dental practice in Napier, located in the sunny Hawke’s Bay region of New Zealand.

The practice operates from a modern four-chair clinic and provides a comprehensive range of general and cosmetic dental treatments including crown and bridge work, veneers, implants, dentures, whitening, extractions, endodontics and Invisalign.

Clinicians benefit from advanced digital equipment including CBCT imaging, CEREC technology and an on-site laboratory, supporting efficient workflows and high-quality restorative dentistry.

You will join a supportive and experienced team of dentists, hygienists and dental assistants within a collaborative clinical environment. Mentoring is available from senior clinicians, particularly for dentists interested in developing skills in restorative dentistry, implant treatments and oral surgery.

The role offers excellent earning potential with remuneration up to 40% commission (less laboratory fees). The practice also provides strong professional development support including a fully funded Seattle Study Club membership and financial assistance for recognised training programmes such as Kois, Pankey or Dawson. Long-term partnership opportunities may also be available for the right candidate.

The position would suit a dentist with at least two years of clinical experience, although earlier career dentists may also be considered. Strong communication skills and confidence discussing treatment plans with patients are essential.

Candidates must be eligible for registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ). This typically includes dentists qualified in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada* or the United States*. Candidates with other qualifications should check their eligibility with the DCNZ before applying.

USA and Canadian qualifications must be from DCNZ recognised accredited dental schools.
