A well-established private dental practice in Nelson is seeking a dentist to join their experienced and supportive team. The principal dentist has been practising in the region for more than 30 years and has built a strong reputation together with a loyal and growing patient base.

The successful candidate will take over a busy existing book with regular new patient enquiries and excellent ongoing demand for services. The clinic is modern, spacious and fully digital, equipped with CBCT imaging, iTero and intraoral scanners, OPG, rotary endodontics, surgical motors and Airflow technology.

You will work alongside experienced dental assistants and hygienists within a friendly and collaborative team environment. Mentoring and clinical support are available from the principal dentist, making the role suitable for clinicians at any stage of their career.

Candidates with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be patient-focused, communicative and comfortable discussing treatment plans and comprehensive care with patients. Surgical extraction experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

Candidates must be eligible for registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ). This typically includes dentists qualified in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada* or the United States*. Candidates with other qualifications should check their eligibility with the DCNZ before applying.

USA and Canadian qualifications must be from DCNZ recognised accredited dental schools.
