A busy and well-established private dental practice in New Plymouth is seeking a dentist to join their experienced and supportive team. This is a full-time opportunity within a modern purpose-built clinic offering a broad range of general and advanced dental treatments.

The practice is very well equipped with technology including Sirona Teneo and Sinius treatment centres, Cerec CAD/CAM systems, vacuum furnace technology, CBCT imaging, digital x-rays and a full range of modern restorative materials. Treatments provided include general dentistry, endodontics, Cerec restorations, third molar surgery, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry and implantology.

You will be joining an experienced team of dentists, dental assistants, reception staff and practice management professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment. Mentoring and clinical support are available for recent graduates or less experienced clinicians.

Candidates of all experience levels will be considered. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, patient-focused and interested in developing a long-term role within the practice. There is also potential for future practice ownership for the right clinician.

New Plymouth offers an excellent coastal lifestyle with easy access to beaches, hiking, mountain biking and surfing. The Taranaki region is well known for its outdoor lifestyle, relaxed atmosphere and the iconic Mount Taranaki backdrop.

Candidates must be eligible for registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ). This typically includes dentists qualified in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada* or the United States*. Candidates with other qualifications should check their eligibility with the DCNZ before applying.

USA and Canadian qualifications must be from DCNZ recognised accredited dental schools.
