An established private dental practice in Whangarei is seeking an experienced dentist to join its supportive team on a full-time, four-day-per-week basis.

The four-surgery practice provides general and emergency dentistry to an established patient base. The clinic has a modern clinical set-up, with a digital scanner and the equipment required to provide high-quality general dental care.

You will work alongside an experienced team of three dentists, a hygienist and practice manager within a friendly and supportive environment. Remuneration is flexible and can be structured as either salary or commission, with terms negotiated depending on the successful candidate.

Candidates should ideally have at least one year of clinical experience and be confident providing all aspects of general dentistry. The practice is looking for a dentist interested in a long-term role, with a commitment of at least one to two years preferred.

Whangarei offers an excellent Northland lifestyle, combining a regional city with easy access to beaches, coastal walks and scenic reserves. The city has a good selection of restaurants, cafés, galleries and local amenities and is approximately a 35-minute flight from Auckland.

Candidates must be eligible for registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ). This typically includes dentists qualified in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada* or the United States*. Candidates with other qualifications should check their eligibility with the DCNZ before applying.

USA and Canadian qualifications must be from DCNZ recognised accredited dental schools.
