We are seeking an experienced and driven Dental Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a premium private dental practice. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will balance exceptional patient experience, team development, and strong commercial performance.

This position goes beyond operations — we’re looking for a credible leader with emotional intelligence, integrity, and the ability to inspire high-performing teams.

The Role
As Practice Manager, you will:

  • Lead overall practice performance across people, patient experience, and commercial outcomes
  • Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team, setting clear expectations and accountability
  • Monitor and drive key KPIs including chair utilisation, treatment conversion, revenue, and patient satisfaction
  • Work closely with clinicians and Treatment Coordinators to optimise the patient journey
  • Oversee diary management to maximise productivity while maintaining a premium experience
  • Ensure ongoing CQC compliance and regulatory readiness
  • Manage budgets, stock control, and cost efficiency
  • Handle patient feedback and complaints with professionalism and care
  • Identify operational improvements and implement effective solutions
  • Support local growth through marketing and community engagement

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Practice Manager within a UK private dental setting
  • Strong people management experience, including performance management and team development
  • Commercially aware, with experience managing KPIs and financial performance
  • Confident leadership style — able to motivate, challenge, and develop teams
  • Highly organised, structured, and solutions-focused
  • Strong understanding of CQC compliance
  • Patient-centred approach with excellent communication skills

Desirable:

  • Corporate background with experience running a practice end-to-end
  • Dental qualification or clinical background
  • Formal management or leadership training
  • Experience improving treatment conversion and patient journey performance
